Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in power system studies, including load flow and short circuit analysis
• Manage tasks and resources for power-system analysis and report creation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project deliverables
• Mentor and coach less-experienced staff to support their growth and development
• Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and internal teams to align technical approaches with client goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in power system studies and project management
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Proficiency in ETAP, SKM Power Tools, PSCAD, and basic Microsoft Office software
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in consulting engineering, electric utility, or industrial settings
• Familiarity with substation design, renewable energy projects, and SCADA design or programming
• Experience with NERC standards and requirements
• Knowledge of additional software tools such as ASPEN OneLiner and MathCAD
• Ability to perform lightning or switching overvoltage studies using PSCADEngineering
