YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We are recruiting an Electrical Engineering Change Specialist (M/F) for our Octeville-sur-Mer site.
The Electrical Engineering Change Specialist (M/F) plays a key interface role between the Electrical Design Office, Procurement, Sourcing, and Production.
In a product evolution project context, their role is to secure the Electrical Material scope by managing and validating technical evolutions, ensuring consistency between technical and production nomenclatures, and actively contributing to standardization and cost reduction projects.
YOUR MISSION
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, your missions will be:
- Define, validate, and coordinate the application ranks of product evolutions, with a focus on the electrical scope.
- Analyze and implement orientations from Product Evolution commissions, evaluating their technical, industrial, and supplier impacts.
- Minimize scrap risks, internally and with suppliers, by anticipating the impacts of technical modifications.
- Propose product modifications to rationalize, optimize, and standardize electrical component and module references.
- Ensure the correct application of mechanical and electrical application ranks on projects and in series production.
- Provide technical support to the Procurement department in finding solutions, particularly in reducing obsolescence.
- Manage end-of-life article stocks and track the impacts of product evolutions on inventories.
- Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), propose corrective actions, and populate dashboards.
- Identify standardization areas and lead their implementation in coordination with Methods and Procurement.
- Actively participate in SIDEL equipment cost reduction projects.
- Ensure alignment between technical nomenclatures (technical BOMs) and production nomenclatures (industrial BOMs).
YOUR PROFILE
You have a technical background, ideally in electricity/electrotechnics, or industrial experience allowing you to understand electrical equipment and components (role in industrialization methods or project purchasing).
Comfortable in a cross-functional role, you are recognized for your rigor, analytical skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with different teams (Engineering, Purchasing, Procurement, and Production), as well as to interact with suppliers.
Knowledge of SIDEL equipment or industrial machinery is a plus.
A functional level of English (minimum B1) is required.
