Tshwane North TVET College would like to invite suitably qualified, innovative, result‑orientated and self‑driven candidates to apply for the Contract Lecturer position at Soshanguve North Campus.

Ref: TNC/SNC/22 – 05/3

SALARY: R214,908 per annum plus 37% in lieu of benefits

DURATION: June 2022 to April 2023

Requirements

• Matric certificate plus an appropriate M+3 Qualification (National Diploma / Bachelor's Degree) in Electrical Engineering or related field with one (1) year lecturing experience in Mathematics N1 – N6 and Engineering Science N1‑N4
• Relevant Teaching Qualification
• Relevant Trade Test Certificate in the respective trade
• Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• SACE registration
• Assessor/moderator qualification will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of legislation governing the sector

Duties

• Conduct classes on the above‑mentioned subjects
• Organise relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject and learning area of the learners are conducted in a proper manner
• Assess and record the attainment of learners
• Assist with the issuing and retrieval of textbooks and management of equipment etc.
• Organise experiential training for students
• Report and account for student performance in their programmes
• Record and report on absenteeism and perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning
