The expected salary range for this role is $162,000 to $180,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including bonus and retirement savings options.

Position Overview

As an Engineering Manager - Electrical, you will engage in advanced problem-solving tasks and serve as a vital resource and technical expert to your engineering team. You will spearhead technical decisions, holding in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, applicable industry codes, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities • Deliver technical expertise to develop, oversee, and enact engineering analyses and initiatives. • Act as a subject matter expert, providing consultation to identify and resolve complex equipment and system issues. • Lead engineering and technical responsibilities with accountability for both immediate and future programs influencing site operations. • Conduct engineering tasks based on general engineering principles as directed by supervisory staff. • Ensure the precision, completeness, and timely delivery of work while complying with design standards and procedural guidelines. • Perform independent research, evaluations, studies, and analyses to support various technical projects and initiatives. • Propose improvements in equipment and techniques aimed at enhancing performance, optimizing construction, reducing costs, or meeting updated regulatory requirements. • Undertake other duties as assigned by management, including emergency response roles and support for outage activities.

Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Chemical, Nuclear, or Industrial) or a related science, OR Professional Engineer license, OR active/inactive SRO License, with at least 5 years of engineering experience, including 1 year in a nuclear power plant. • Must meet access requirements and pass health examinations as applicable to the role.

Preferred Qualifications • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role. • Professional Engineer Registration or an advanced technical degree. • Experience in Electrical Design Engineering. • Knowledge in Transmission and/or Digital Relay Protection.
