Lexdan Select is assisting a Mining Services company with their search for a Electrical Engineering Manager-E&I. Based in Johannesburg.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electrical & instrumentation (E&I) systems
• Manage multiple projects (planning, budgeting, execution, delivery)
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of systems
• Implement and manage maintenance and reliability programs
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and ISO requirements
• Drive safety standards, risk assessments, and incident prevention
• Lead, mentor, and manage engineering teams and performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, innovation)
• Engage with customers and stakeholders, providing technical support
• Manage departmental budgets and contribute to business strategy

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s/ECSA advantageous)
• 10+ years’ E&I experience, with 3+ years in a management role
• Strong knowledge of power systems, instrumentation, PLCs, DCS, SCADA
• Proficiency in CAD and engineering design tools

Salary

R60-80k Per Month
