Electrical Maintenance Technician

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and uptime of production installations. You will play a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems
• Diagnose and resolve faults, breakdowns, and system failures
• Work on control systems, panels, sensors, and drives
• Support production teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
• Collaborate with mechanical technicians and operators
• Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards (e.g. NEN 3140)
• Accurately document maintenance activities and interventions

Candidate Requirements

• N3–N4 in Electrical Engineering + Trade Test (Electrician)
• Equivalent to MBO 4 Elektrotechniek
• Experience in industrial environments (manufacturing, FMCG, or chemical)
• Strong fault-finding and analytical skills
• Willingness to work in a 5-shift system
• Afrikaans-speaking OR good understanding and ability to communicate in Afrikaans advantageous in order pick up Dutch more easily.
• Must be South African and aged 29 or younger unless you hold an EU passport.
• Open to relocating to the Netherlands
