Your Impact

As a Deputy Project Leader / Manager in the Electrical & Construction division, you'll spearhead multimillion-dollar efforts like campus infrastructure upgrades and entertainment venues. You'll guide complex electrical construction projects across their full lifecycle-from bidding and planning through execution and closeout-bringing clarity, ingenuity, and leadership to each stage.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the administration and implementation of individual projects or components of larger builds
  • Manage all phases: proposal, design, engineering, installation, and handover
  • Develop project documentation including layout plans, equipment strategy, staffing needs, and schedules
  • Facilitate kickoff meetings and create resource-loaded Work Breakdown Structures
  • Track and manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reports
  • Execute site surveys and cost studies to ensure fiscal accuracy and scope alignment
  • Support procurement, permitting, inspections, and coordination of tools and equipment
  • Analyze data across systems to monitor project health and drive decisions
  • Deliver punch-list resolutions, final documentation, and training materials
  • Collaborate with estimators, engineers, and schedulers to optimize delivery
  • Maintain positive relationships with leadership, clients, and contractors
  • Promote safety and identify continuous improvement opportunities

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Math (ABET preferred)
  • 5+ years' experience in electrical construction project leadership
  • Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, and critical path analysis
  • Experience in estimating, budgeting, and customer proposal creation
  • Knowledge of procurement and technical documentation processes
  • Strong communicator with team leadership and presentation skills
