In this key position, you will take overall responsibility for the planning, control, and implementation of battery storage systems (BESS) and substation projects. You will significantly shape the company's technical direction and design the development of future project structures and the team. You will be in direct communication with grid operators, technical stakeholders, and internal decision-makers, thereby driving the successful connection of BESS systems to the power grid.
Responsibilities
- Overall management of the planning and implementation of BESS facilities and associated substations
- Technical and organizational responsibility for grid connection, network connections, and project approvals
- Professional communication with grid operators, authorities, service providers, and EPC partners
- Development of internal project structures and contribution to the company strategy in the field of energy storage
- Building and later leading your own team (team lead perspective)
- Ensuring electrical engineering quality, compliance with standards, and adherence to deadlines and budget specifications
- Support in the selection, evaluation, and management of external partners
Requirements
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience (min. 5–7 years) in BESS, high voltage, substations, or grid technology
- In-depth technical knowledge in Grid & Substation Engineering
- Experience in dealing with grid operators and complex approval processes
- Ideally: Experience in the realization of large BESS projects
- Ambition to build structures, take responsibility, and prospectively lead a team
- Very good German language skills

Requirements
- Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Elektrotechnik, Energietechnik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung (mind. 5–7 Jahre) im Bereich BESS, Hochspannung, Umspannwerke oder Netztechnik
- Tiefes Fachwissen im Bereich Grid & Substation Engineering
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit Netzbetreibern und komplexen Genehmigungsprozessen
- Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse
Responsibilities
- Gesamtleitung der Planung und Umsetzung von BESS-Anlagen und zugehörigen Umspannwerken
- Technische und organisatorische Verantwortung für Grid Connection, Netzanschlüsse und Projektgenehmigungen
- Fachliche Kommunikation mit Netzbetreibern, Behörden, Dienstleistern und EPC-Partnern
- Entwicklung der internen Projektstrukturen sowie Mitgestaltung der Unternehmensstrategie im Bereich Energiespeicher
- Aufbau und spätere Führung eines eigenen Teams (Teamlead-Perspektive)
- Sicherstellung der elektrotechnischen Qualität, Einhaltung von Normen und Termin- sowie Budgetvorgaben
- Unterstützung bei der Auswahl, Bewertung und Steuerung externer Partner
