About the Role

As a Water / Wastewater Project Manager, you will be part of a leadership team dedicated to providing world‑class service to our clients by leading the day‑to‑day management of the project.

We are an electrical contractor looking for an experienced Project Manager with experience managing electrical installation projects with controls and instrumentation experience in the Water/Wastewater industry. This role will lead the coordination of all project requirements, including but not limited to scope, schedule, procurement, budget, client relations, project management, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, schedule, and close out
  • Have thorough knowledge of all major project issues and priorities; prepare and submit monthly job status reports
  • Have thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understanding of all parties involved
  • Secure all required permits and verify insurance coverage for subs
  • Schedule and facilitate all project meetings required to successfully coordinate work activity
  • Supervise and manage project team members; set goals and evaluate performance for team members
  • Train and develop direct reports utilizing on‑the‑job and internal and external training or development opportunities
  • Provide general administrative and technical leadership for the project
  • Maintain all project records and monitor correspondence
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner and engineering firms
  • Participate in proposals and presentations as requested

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years construction experience required
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management preferred, or similar qualifying experience
  • Project management and installation experience in the water/wastewater industry
  • Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish
  • Skilled at negotiating and developing relationships with owners and subcontractors
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach and evaluate a team; minimum 4 years supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of industry, state, and local code requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret all contract drawings such as Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Security and Architectural
  • Experience with water/wastewater construction and installation projects
  • Good understanding of Controls, P&ID Drawings and SCADA systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in engineering or business a plus
  • Working for an electrical contractor on large‑scale construction
  • DBIA and LEED Accreditation
  • Mass transit and rail, highway, aviation, or other infrastructure project experience

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • The Physical Side of the Role: Active, hands‑on role; frequent standing, navigating uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and hoists. Requires full range of motion (bending, kneeling, reaching). Must be comfortable lifting and carrying materials up to 25 lb (occasionally up to 50 lb). Requires effective communication and visual acuity for reading plans and inspecting work. Includes desk time with prolonged sitting for computer work, document review, and meetings.
  • Your Work Environment: Significant time on active construction sites; adaptable to all weather conditions, moderate to loud noise levels, elevated or confined work areas with moving mechanical equipment, and fast‑paced project activity. Compensation and Benefits

Clark offers a total compensation package that includes base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, retirement/401(k), and Company Contribution plan.
