About the role
Rightway Recruitment is representing a growing electrical contractor with a strong presence across British Columbia, delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects from pre-construction through to completion.
With a solid pipeline of work and a reputation for a hands-on, practical approach, they are now looking to add a Project Manager / Estimator to support both preconstruction and project delivery within their Victoria office.
This role is ideal for a well-rounded electrical professional who enjoys balancing estimating with project delivery, while taking ownership of projects from initial pursuit through to completion.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Engagement:
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities with new and existing clients
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
Estimating & Pre-Construction:
- Preparing detailed and competitive estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contracts, identifying risks and opportunities
- Providing value engineering solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal teams during planning phases
Project Execution & Delivery:
- Leading projects from pre-construction through to execution and closeout
- Coordinating procurement, scheduling, and subcontractors
- Working closely with field teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
Financial Management:
- Managing project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Monitoring performance to ensure projects are delivered within budget
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in electrical construction (estimating, project management, or both)
- Experience working on commercial and/or industrial projects
- Ability to manage projects from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices
- Experience with estimating/project management software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Measures of Success:
- Projects are successfully delivered from pre-construction through to completion
- Estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project scope
- Financial performance is maintained within budget targets
- Strong relationships are built and maintained with clients and stakeholders
- Projects are executed efficiently with clear coordination across teams
Work Environment & Conditions:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Based in Victoria, BC
- Mix of office and project-based responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $95,000 – $130,000 (depending on experience)
