Electricity Markets Software/Data Engineer

Your role in the team

• Data analysis: Evaluate complex energy industry data from sources such as the electricity market, grid security, and balancing reserves.
• Innovation: Develop machine learning models and optimization models for system operation and the European electricity market.
• Specification sheet: Define requirements, review specifications.
• Process Design: Analyze new requirements, design them, and implement them in IT systems or prototypes.
• Specify data requirements from the perspective of system operations.
• Software solutions: Accompany new tools and serve as the central point of contact.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm: Data analysis, scripting, as well as energy industry and electrical engineering issues.

• Together: self-responsible, committed, goal-oriented.
• Languages: German C1, English B2.

Experience

• Relevant professional experience: 2+ years, ideally in operations or in the development of IT system landscapes.
• Professional experience: Relevant experience, including in the operation or further development of IT system landscapes.

Education

• Completed education: Master's degree in Energy Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
