Contribute to cutting-edge aviation safety at Bombardier as a Senior Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer. This hybrid role based in Dorval, QC focuses on ensuring aircraft compliance with electromagnetic standards.

In this position, you'll handle complex engineering tasks related to Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) within Bombardier's dynamic team. Reporting to the Engineering EMC Section Chief, you'll analyze internal and external electromagnetic threats, conducting detailed simulations and analyses. Your efforts will support production processes and long-term certification activities, enhancing the safety and reliability of Bombardier aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analyses for EMI, HIRF, LIRF, and more
• Drive EMC issue resolution to ensure compliance
• Plan project activities and assess technical risks
• Review engineering documents and recommend compliance actions
• Represent EMC interests in multidisciplinary settings

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in aerospace
• Strong understanding of airworthiness and certification regulations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in aircraft development programs beneficial
