To strengthen our teams, we are looking for a dedicated specialist for our Rostock location as soon as possible:

Expert Systems Engineering / Systemintegration Marine (w/m/d)

Focus on Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics

In this position, you will support maritime projects as a technical specialist and take on construction supervision in the shipyard environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for compliance with requirements, specifications, and relevant standards and quality standards in integration projects on naval ships
  • Planning, control, and execution of quality assurance measures and reporting during the on-site construction phase
  • Technical coordination and professional alignment with customers and subcontractors
  • Independent management and evaluation of subcontractor performance with regard to requirements, specifications, and standard conformity
  • Creation, review, and maintenance of technical documentation (e.g. specifications, integration and test plans, test specifications, acceptance documentation)
  • Participation in the integration of systems and subsystems, including the execution of technical document reviews
  • Planning, support, and execution of system verification (system tests, qualification, acceptance preparation)
  • Professional support and knowledge transfer in the field of system technology and integration

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering/mechatronics or a comparable qualification (e.g. technician/master electrician)
  • Ideally several years of professional experience in systems engineering or system integration in the maritime environment
  • Confident use of MS Office (especially PowerPoint, Project and Excel)
  • Strong quality awareness
  • Sound knowledge of test methodology, test processes, and ideally test automation
  • Very good German and confident English skills, both written and spoken
  • Experience in installation, commissioning, or construction supervision in shipbuilding, especially in the field of electronic systems
  • Knowledge of relevant classification regulations (e.g. DNV, BV, LR) and ideally experience with shipbuilding processes and acceptance procedures of public clients
  • Structured, solution-oriented way of working and high teamwork skills
  • Willingness to undertake regular business trips is required
