Working Hours: Full-Time│ Monday to Friday | 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST

About the Role:
The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing Locomotive’s email marketing programs across all brands and cities.
This role will focus on: • Driving ticket sales • Improving lifecycle automation • Increasing repeat attendance • Scaling segmentation across hundreds of markets • The ideal candidate combines creative marketing thinking with strong technical CRM skills.
Role Responsibilities:
Email Campaign Strategy • Plan and execute email campaigns to promote live events across multiple cities • Build promotional sequences for show launches, presales, and last-minute ticket pushes • Optimize subject lines, creative, and CTAs for ticket conversion
Lifecycle Marketing
• Build and manage automated flows including: • Welcome sequences • First-purchase nurture • Post-event engagement • Repeat buyer campaigns • Lapsed customer reactivation
Segmentation & Personalization • Create targeted campaigns by city, event type, purchase behavior, and engagement history • Build dynamic audience segments to improve open and conversion rates
Performance Optimization
Monitor and improve key metrics: • Open rate • Click-through rate • Ticket conversion rate • Revenue per send • Run A/B tests on subject lines, offers, timing, and design
CRM & Data Integration • Manage email platform integrations with ticketing platforms (Easol, Ticketmaster, etc.) • Maintain list hygiene and deliverability • Ensure GDPR / CAN-SPAM compliance
Cross-Team Collaboration • • Work closely with Paid Media, Creative, and Event Operations teams
• Align email campaigns with marketing launches and ticket release schedules
Requirements: • 4+ years of experience in email marketing or lifecycle marketing • Experience with high-volume consumer brands or ticketed events preferred • Technical Skills → Experience with one or more platforms: • Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Iterable, Customer.io, Salesforce Marketing Cloud • Strong understanding of: • Segmentation, deliverability, automation flows, A/B testing, and CRM integrations • Marketing Mindset • The candidate should understand: • Urgency-based marketing • Event ticket sales funnels • Repeat customer monetization • Conversion optimization
Experience with E-commerce or ticketing businesses is highly valuable.
Key Metrics for Success:
First 6 months: • Increase email-driven ticket sales • Improve open rates and CTR across the campaign. • Build a scalable lifecycle automation framework • Implement improved segmentation across markets.
