About the Role

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS Defence and Space, we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH.

The position holder works as Software Developer / Architect for Embedded Real Time Software (f/m/d).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems
  • Implement AI and deep learning algorithms to improve system functionality such as sensor data processing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of software solutions into avionics systems
  • Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards (e.g. DO-178C, DO-254) and safety-critical software development practices
  • Conduct testing, validation and verification of software to meet aerospace requirements

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in IT / information systems and aerospace
  • Proven experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications
  • Familiarity with avion

Requirements

  • Proven experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications
  • Familiarity with avionics standards such as ARINC 653 and DO-178C and safety-critical software development
  • Experience in C/C++ and/or Ada and real-time operating systems (e.g. VxWorks)
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks and deep learning techniques
  • Fluent English (negotiation level); German is a plus
