About the role

Overview / Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop software components for automotive body control systems. The role involves working in a collaborative engineering environment to build, modify, and optimize embedded software, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of complex device driver code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software components for body control systems
  • Analyze requirements and create feature-level designs and functional specifications
  • Develop, debug, and modify software using C and Python
  • Deliver high-quality, functioning device driver code on schedule
  • Scale, refactor, and enhance existing software components for new architecture requirements
  • Collaborate with architecture, validation teams, and partners to develop reusable components and documentation
  • Perform code-level integration tasks including build replication and debugging
  • Improve and streamline deployment processes
  • Work with development and project managers to align on CI/CD pipelines for product releases
  • Evaluate technologies for cloud-scalable test infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for ECUs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of embedded software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience in Embedded C, MATLAB Simulink, and Stateflow
  • Strong programming skills in C with ability to write portable, platform-agnostic code
  • 3+ years of experience developing Proof-of-Concept applications for automotive ECUs
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment
  • 3+ years of experience with Objective-C
