Embedded Product Development Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Product Development Lead to drive the architecture, design, and development of embedded software solutions from concept to production. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on development expertise, and close collaboration with customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of embedded software components
• Define and create detailed embedded software requirements
• Drive end-to-end product development from concept to production
• Integrate new solutions with existing hardware and software systems
• Identify opportunities for product improvements and innovation
• Act as a technical liaison with customer stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in embedded software development (preferably as Architect/Lead)
• Strong experience in architecture, design, and implementation of embedded products
• Proficiency in C++ (primary language)
• Experience with Linux OS, XML, SQL, and scripting (Python or Bash)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded UI development (HTML, HTTP/HTTPS, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of communication protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, MODBUS, Serial
• Understanding of real-time systems and RTOS concepts
• Experience with Agile, V-Model, SDLC processes
• Familiarity with tools: Git, Jenkins, Visual Studio, Eclipse, UML
• Experience as a Scrum Master or Technical Lead
• Knowledge of ARM processors and BSP development (Yocto/Linux builds)
• Experience with device driver development and board bring-up
• Exposure to Oil & Gas domain or industrial equipment
• Understanding of cross-compilation and target debugging
