CubePilot has expanded its international presence with the creation of a new entity in France focused on the development of certified and safety solutions for UAS (CubeSafe). CubePilot France has already an established team of experts with decades of combined experience in the development of critical software products for the avionics industry. This recruitement is conducted to support the activities of this structure.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the production of all the software certifcation artifacts throughout the DO-178C certifiable software lifecycle (requirements, architecture, testing, implementation, etc.)
  • Ensure the proper application of the applied standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process
  • Work closely with Hardware, System and Quality Assurance teams
  • Develop and maintain the testing verification environment
  • Perform integrations/tests at customers sites and interface with their technical teams (collection and analysis of requirements, maintenance, support, etc.)

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or PhD in software development.
  • At least 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Experience in an industrial environment is highly valued, ideally within a highly regulated context (avionics, medical, nuclear, automotive, etc.).
  • Software Development skills in C/C++, Ada 2022
  • Proven knowledge and skills in autopilot software development
  • Fluent English
  • Knowledge of hardware and low-level software layers
  • Familiarity with control/command principles and concepts
  • Strong sense of rigor, autonomy and communication abilities
  • Having of a subset of these skills may be acceptable.
