Embedded SoC Platform Developer

Your role in the team

• You build the software foundation for high-performance automotive computing platforms based on modern SoCs and HPCs.
• Working with QNX OS and virtualization technologies, you enable scalable, safe, and high-performing vehicle architectures.
• You bring up boards, integrate operating systems and hypervisors, and deliver core platform functionality for complex SoC-based systems.
• Your work ensures performance, safety, and security across mixed-criticality environments.
• You support SoC and HPC bring-up, implement boot chains, and ensure stable system startup from early firmware to OS level.
• You configure and integrate QNX OS and QNX Hypervisor features, enabling virtualization and mixed-criticality system setups.
• You work closely with system, safety, and integration teams to debug, optimize, and deliver end-to-end platform solutions.

Our expectations:

Qualifications

• You are familiar with system bring-up, boot chains, virtualization concepts, and performance-oriented platform integration on complex SoCs.
• You are willing to travel occasionally depending on project context and enjoy working in distributed, international platform teams.
• You communicate fluently in English; German language skills are considered an advantage.

Experience

• You bring several years of experience in embedded software development for SoC- or HPC-based systems.
• You have strong hands-on experience with QNX OS, hypervisor technologies, or comparable RTOS/Linux-based platform environments.

Education

• You have a completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
