About Blue Origin

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight.

This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.

Role Overview

As a Firmware and Embedded Software Engineering Operations Lead on the Lunar Avionics Team, you will work directly with the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to deliver the embedded software and firmware systems that will power human flight to and on the surface of the moon. You will perform project management functions across the entire embedded software and firmware lifecycle from requirements definition, design development, integration with flight hardware, verification, and deployment to production systems. You will assist communicating status, risks & opportunities, variances, and recovery plans to engineering and program management. You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth. If you have experience delivering integrated firmware and embedded software systems that interface with electronics, mechanical systems, and hardware platforms and you want to be a part of history, come join us at Blue Origin.

We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required.
