As an Embedded Software Developer, you will be part of the RDK-B platform support team, contributing to the development and enhancement of Wi-Fi gateway and extender products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and test Wi-Fi software features for Comcast Wi-Fi gateway and extender products.
• Work with vendors to integrate Wi-Fi chipset solutions into the platform.
• Provide technical assistance to troubleshooting teams to resolve customer Wi-Fi issues.
• Develop new Wi-Fi features on the RDK-B platform to enhance product capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of features and bug fixes.

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in Embedded Software Development using C/C++.
• Strong understanding of IEEE802.11 protocol and Wi-Fi standards.
• Hands-on experience working in Linux operating systems and environment.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
