Software Developer (Embedded C)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with strong experience in embedded systems and C programming. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in requirement analysis, design, and development of embedded software, preferably within aerospace or similar regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain embedded software using C programming
• Perform requirement analysis, design, coding, and unit testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets system requirements
• Follow aerospace standards such as DO-178B/C for software development and verification
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and testing activities
• Manage software configuration and version control using SVN
• Work with requirement management tools such as IBM DOORS
• Support change management and configuration control processes

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in embedded software development
• Strong hands-on experience in C programming
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Automotive, Railway, or Medical domain
• Experience with DO-178B/C standards and software verification processes
• Experience in requirement analysis, design, and development
• At least 1+ year of experience using IBM DOORS
• Experience with configuration management tools (SVN)
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MATLAB or similar tools
• Knowledge of Siemens Polarion
• Experience with aircraft electrical systems
• Familiarity with change request and configuration management processes
