Embedded software developer, audio and communication systems

Your role in the team

• Analysis of requirements as well as conception and development of embedded software for complex devices
• Participation in an agile development team with responsibility for specific areas.
• Planning, control, and implementation of work packages considering deadlines and costs
• Close coordination with related areas such as software, firmware, and hardware development.
• Development, integration, and maintenance of software modules including testing, bug analysis, and optimization.
• Integration of software components into the overall application within a CI environment
• Execution and documentation of functional and integration tests directly on the system

Our expectations:

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of common communication protocols
• Proficient handling of Linux-based embedded systems
• Knowledge in software quality assurance and object-oriented software development
• Structured and independent working style as well as team skills
• Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English

Experience

• Several years of experience in embedded software development
• Extensive experience in development with C/C++ as well as knowledge of Python
• Experience with agile development methodologies as well as version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Ideally, experience with systemd/dbus, CMake, as well as in the field of Safety and Security.

Education

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field of study
