About the role
Your role in the team
- As a developer (m/f/d) for low-level hardware software, you design and implement software for embedded multicore systems.
- Your responsibilities include both the control and monitoring of analog and digital peripherals as well as the preprocessing of radar data in modern automotive radar sensors.
- Furthermore, you support the development of the framework for managing and distributing internal software processes across the various cores in the radar sensor and work in the area of synchronization of multiple devices within a sensor network.
- Development of software components for the acquisition and preprocessing of radar data for real-time applications.
- Support for architecture decisions considering runtime requirements, memory limitations, as well as efficient load distribution across processor cores.
- Use of processor-internal units such as interrupt, DMA, HW accelerators for signal processing.
- Development of diagnostic software for monitoring internal functional units and peripherals during runtime.
- Coordination of hardware requirements in interdisciplinary project teams.
- Commissioning, verification, and optimization of hardware prototypes.

Qualifications
- Good knowledge of the programming language "C".
- Basic knowledge of software design, quality analysis and testing tools, version control.
- Knowledge in Digital Signal Processing or Radar Technology is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of German and English.
Experience
- Initial experience in low-level microcontroller programming in C.
Education
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
