About the role

Collaboration on embedded software projects in the field of NFC, eUICC and security.
Participation in software design, code and test plans / needed test coverage.
Design and implementation of Software / Firmware running on smart card microcontrollers.
Contribution to effort estimation and project planning.
Documentation of architecture and modules.
Active contribution to an agile software development process.
Familiarity and comfortable working with international standards.

The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks.
The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.

Programming skills on embedded microcontrollers (ARM or similar).
Good knowledge in Java and C/C++ programming.
Interest in working in international team.
Beneficial skills: Java Card Architecture, SW Architecture Design for Smart Cards, Knowledge of embedded UICC, Standards like Global Platform, VISA, Mastercard, EMVco, Security algorithms.
