This internship will allow you to directly contribute to the development of a strategic internal tool used to visualize, edit, and leverage complex 3D scenes generated by our scanning technologies. As part of an expert software team, you will take part in modernizing an existing tool to improve its performance, usability, and editing capabilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance an internal 3D visualization and editing tool
• Extend and modernize an existing tool to improve its architecture and user experience
• Implement loading and rendering of 3D representations of our products
• Manage the display and playback of sequences of 3D scenes captured by our systems
• Add editing features such as metadata management, 3D points, and scene elements
• Develop data export and 3D data conversion functions
• Leverage GPU acceleration to support complex scenes containing a large number of entities
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure tool quality and performance

What will help you succeed at FARO Creaform:

• Being a student in computer science, software engineering, computer graphics, or a related field
• Having a strong interest in 3D, visualization, and graphical tools
• Possessing solid foundations in software programming
• Being comfortable working in a technical and collaborative environment
• Proficiency in technical English is an asset in an international context
