AI/ML Software Engineer - High-Performance & Cloud Systems

What Your Day-to-Day Could Include

• Build and integrate AI and ML components into operational systems
• Develop high-performance applications optimized for large data processing and GPU acceleration
• Write scalable backend services in C++, Python, or Go
• Design infrastructure using Terraform and deploy into AWS environments
• Support streaming analytics pipelines that process real-time data
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize system throughput
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and mission experts to move prototypes into production

Minimum Qualifications

• Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
• Seven years of Software Engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree

Required Skills

• Experience with AI and ML development or system integration
• Terraform experience deploying infrastructure in AWS
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and or Golang
• Experience developing high-performance or GPU-accelerated applications
• Experience working with large-scale streaming data analytics systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex mission environments

Desired Skills

• Experience with distributed data platforms or big-data ecosystems
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and containerization
• Familiarity with performance tuning, parallel processing, or HPC environments
• Exposure to operational mission systems

Compensation Range

$139,000.00 - $179,000.00

The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate's background and suitability for the role.
