Position Details

• Position: Embedded Software Engineer
• Location: Mossville, IL
• Duration: 12 Months (High possibility of extension due to project needs)
• Compensation: $50/hr - $59/hr on W2 (only)

Job Description

• Required Experience: Minimum BS in Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering / similar required & 5-7 yrs industry experience. Will accept Master's or higher relevant internship/project experience toward minimum.
• Soft Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and make software/system changes as needed to resolve issues; Ability to research technical topics and learn new technologies and approaches; Verbal & written communication skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Work Policy: On-Site Full Time
• Requirements: Real-world experience implementing software for embedded Linux is a key requirement; ideally with C/C++/Rust, Linux Middleware & App development, Ethernet, TCP/IP, WiFi; looking for candidates to go into the embedded space; open to more years of experience; most focus on middleware; open to candidates that have all requirements and can relocate on day 1 at their own expense; Master's can supplement as 2 years of experience.
