📝 Ce que nous attendons de vous

We are looking for a database engineer with the following qualifications and skills:

• Educated to a 5-year degree level (or equivalent) in computer science, electronics, or a related discipline.
• Ability to manage software developments and databases.
• Strong experience in database management.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
• Familiarity with ED-12/DO-178, DO-330, or DO-220 certification processes. Knowledge of other industry standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262) is a plus.
• Experience with configuration management processes and tools (e.g., SVN, Git, ClearCase).
• Fluent in French and English.
• Soft skills: strong analytical abilities, capacity for abstraction, eagerness to learn independently, and clear communication in diverse contexts.
• Additional experience in related domains is appreciated, including familiarity with model-based development (e.g., Scade, Simulink), continuous integration processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins), simulation/modeling, and agile methods (e.g., Scrum).

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Quelles sont vos responsabilités

As a database engineer, you will join a team working on all helicopters, developing interfaces for new or existing systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing our database architecture to ease integrations across our fleet, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Organizing updates with system architects to integrate new features into our products.
• Managing the backlog of activities performed by partners.
• Participating in process improvement, particularly to facilitate continuous integration of embedded systems.
• Performing updates associated with specific database features.
