About the Role:

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of embedded software for various chassis control modules. You will work closely with hardware engineers, system engineers, and other software teams to deliver robust and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for automotive chassis systems.
  • Implement real-time operating systems (RTOS) and low-level drivers.
  • Develop and integrate software components for features such as steering, braking, and suspension control.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of embedded software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture.
  • Optimize software performance and resource utilization.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in embedded software development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Understanding of control systems and feedback loops.
  • Experience with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field.
  • Experience with AUTOSAR or similar automotive software architectures.
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
  • Experience with model-based design and code generation.
