Your Responsibilities:

As a Firmware / Embedded Software Development Engineer (m/f/d), you will be part of an internationally active development team. You will work independently on system-level software and contribute your experience in a structured and solution-oriented manner. The position offers technical design freedom as well as close collaboration across locations and teams in an international environment.

• Implementation of firmware and embedded software for microcontroller-based systems
• Creation of embedded software specifications and software architectures
• Maintenance, analysis, and further development of existing embedded software systems
• Development and evaluation of innovative technology and product ideas
• Administration and further development of tools for embedded software development
• Cross-location and cross-team development and coordination of embedded software concepts

Your Profile:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in programming microcontrollers in an embedded environment
• Good hardware knowledge in the area of microcontroller circuits
• Sound knowledge of C and C++ programming languages
• Ideally, experience with industrial communication systems such as PROFINET or EtherCAT
• Experience in the field of Cyber Security desirable
• Very good German and good English language skills
