Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Contribute to the full embedded software development lifecycle from requirements review and design to implementation, verification, release, and maintenance
  • Partner early with hardware and requirements teams to shape clear interfaces and deliver solutions with strong focus on time-to-market and quality
  • Design and implement low-level software for microcontroller-based systems including peripheral drivers, mode transition modules, and performance-critical functions
  • Plan, develop, and execute verification activities for assigned features using structured methods and transparent reporting
  • Support integration, debugging, and issue analysis on target hardware and in simulation environments, driving root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement by enhancing methodologies, automation, efficiency, stability, and software quality within the team
  • Communicate effectively in intercultural teams, proactively align with stakeholders, and contribute to a collaborative feedback culture

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • A degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
  • At least 1–3 years of professional experience in low-level embedded software development
  • Strong proficiency in embedded C programming and at least one scripting language (e.g. Python) and good knowledge of computer architecture, ARM or RISC-V, and typical peripherals
  • Ability to create and maintain clear design artifacts, and hands-on experience with embedded verification methods and tools
  • AI know-how, with hands-on experience and interest in applying AI in engineering workflows
  • Familiarity with automotive development contexts and functional safety standards
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) with strong communication and presentation skills; German is a plus
