Your Role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) for our innovative development team at the Mammelzen location, near Altenkirchen, as soon as possible.

Doing what's fun

• After your intensive onboarding, you will be responsible together with your colleagues for the software of our sophisticated machines on microcontroller, PLC, or embedded Linux architectures.
• You will actively drive technical concepts forward in interdisciplinary project teams with application engineering and mechanics.
• Topics such as automation technology and device networking are an integral part of our product development at QATM. You will contribute to innovative projects and actively shape the technical further development of our machines.
• You will ensure high software quality through thorough testing, error analysis, and clear documentation.

Your Profile

• You have a completed university or technical college degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
• You have experience in software development for machines.
• You work proficiently with at least one common programming language (e.g., from the C/C++, C#, Python, Structured Text environment, or comparable) and are open to new technologies.
• You are interested in hardware-related software development, device communication, and automation, and are willing to be on-site frequently.
• Reliability, independence, and a structured way of working are a matter of course for you.
• You want to contribute your team and communication skills in interdisciplinary development projects.
