About the role
Overview
You will work in an established company in the technical environment and shape the software for demanding embedded products. You will receive a lot of creative freedom in the further development of hardware-near control software and can develop professionally. In the team, you will use modern development tools and work on safety-relevant applications in industrial contexts. Technologically, we offer work with embedded technologies such as C/C++, Embedded Linux or RTOS and close coordination with electronics and system integration.
Your Tasks
- Develop and implement firmware-near software for own and customer-specific embedded systems
- Focus on secure, robust solutions for safety-relevant control tasks in industrial applications
- Create and maintain software architectures as well as driver and board-near components
- Coordinate test and acceptance processes in technical projects and support integration tests
- Collaborate with hardware teams to coordinate system requirements and perform error analyses
- Document technical solutions and create status reports for project stakeholders
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable practical experience
- Sound knowledge of C/C++ and experience in embedded development
- Experience with Embedded Linux or RTOS environments and knowledge of hardware-near programming
- Independent work style, teamwork, and good communication skills
- Interest in functional safety aspects and the development of robust systems
- Use modern collaboration and planning tools and work cross-functionally with technology, purchasing, and quality
