Responsibilities

• Development of embedded software in C/C++ for NAS systems
• Configuration and adaptation of embedded Linux installations as well as setup and operation of typical network services
• Creation of technical concepts, system architectures, and performance analyses
• Specification, design, implementation, and testing of software components
• Support with software releases and technical support for system integration
• Close cooperation with internal and external project partners
• Presentation of work results to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in (embedded) software development under Linux
• Very good knowledge of hardware-near real-time programming with C/C++
• Very good knowledge of real-time operating systems and embedded Linux
• Knowledge of Bash and Python programming desirable
• Basic knowledge or experience in web design or development of browser-based user interfaces advantageous
• Experience with modern software development processes and development environments
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems considering system, software, and hardware aspects
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken
