About the Role

Embedded Software Engineer (Radio Integration) is required at an established company in Lynnwood, Pretoria. The role involves collaborating with international engineering clients, working within an agile development environment, and developing embedded digital communication software components.

Minimum Requirements and Experience

• BEng (Electronic Engineering) or Computer Engineering
• 0‑5 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in C++

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with international engineering clients to adapt embedded communication software to their specific hardware requirements.
• Work as part of the radio integration team in an agile development environment alongside software, hardware, and test engineers on multi‑year programmes.
• Develop embedded digital communication software components.
• Develop software in compliance with coding standards and specifications.
• Work with SoC‑embedded software and toolchains.
• Integrate modern PCBs into third‑party communication equipment.
