For the "Active Sensing Engineering" department, we are looking for an "Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d)" at the Taufkirchen location as soon as possible.

The "Active Sensing Engineering" department is responsible for the development of systems for the self-protection of land and air vehicles. This covers the entire product lifecycle from the bidding phase through the development of demonstrators and prototypes, product and series development, to support during the operational phase.

Your Tasks

• Development of embedded software in C/C++
• Participation in all phases of the V-model (requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, integration, and testing and verification)
• Close coordination with system and software engineers
• Hardware/software integration
• Verification and validation of the developed software
• Creation and execution of test procedures
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation

Your Profile

• Completed degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience in software development for embedded systems and in hardware-related software development
• Very good knowledge of C/C++
• Very good knowledge of the vxWorks operating system
• Good knowledge in the area of software development under Linux
• Good knowledge of requirements management software (e.g., Rational DOORS)
• Knowledge of Python is an advantage
• Experience in real-time data processing
• Experience in creating Board Support Packages
• Sound knowledge of German and English
