About

For the department responsible for the definition, development, and integration of software solutions for electromechanically stabilized, multispectral optronic vision systems with distance measurement, we are looking for a software developer for our client. The client's systems are used in the defense sector.

This position is to be filled through temporary employment.

Your Tasks

• Concept, development, and maintenance of a cross-sectional software platform for optronic vision systems
• Conducting requirements engineering and creating well-founded software specifications
• Cross-sectional and product-specific further development of the software platform and associated development processes
• Development of middleware for automating distributed systems based on CAN bus and Ethernet
• Object-oriented software development in C++
• Agile planning and implementation of software development in the team
• Use of modern software and web technologies and tools, e.g.:
  • git, Jira, Confluence, CMake, Catch2, SQLite, Buildroot, Enterprise Architect
