Embedded software/firmware engineer

Position Overview

Join our team as an Embedded software/firmware engineer based in Houston, TX on a 6+ months contract. In this role, you will work on developing robust embedded software solutions on Linux platforms, leveraging your expertise in C, C++, and device driver development.

Required Qualifications

• Bs/Ms in CS / IT / OTHER with 5 years experience in embedded software development on Linux
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages
• Experience in device driver development on Linux / OTHER
• Familiarity with low-level hardware interconnect protocols such as CAN, SPI, and UART

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Yocto / Devicetree
• Development experience with ADC / DAC devices
• Knowledge of communications protocols such as Serial and TCP/IP
