  • Ensure compliance with program-mandated software standards and criteria.
  • Utilize a continuous integration tool chain environment to meet technical and compliance requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years of experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance within the last 6 years.
  • Proven experience in a formal technical lead position.
  • Proficiency in C++ and object-oriented design.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in architecting, writing requirements, and developing software applications for flight systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing missile flight systems software.
  • Experience creating software for hardware devices.
  • Familiarity with DO-178C compliance and nuclear surety requirements.
  • Able to synthesize information from various sources and execute coherent plans.
  • Experience in developing or debugging operating system software for embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with Jira.
  • Master's degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary range of $152,900.00 - $229,300.00.
  • Base salary determined based on experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
  • Eligibility for overtime, bonuses, and various benefits including health insurance, savings plans, and paid time off.

Work Location

  • This position will be located in Roy, Utah or Huntsville, Alabama.
