Your role in the team

• Responsibility for implementing automated software tests for a fire-smoke system.
• Definition of test cases based on software requirements.
• Verifying test coverage in the requirement management tool IBM Rational Doors.
• Development of test scripts in Python.
• Conducting hardware/software integration tests (high-level testing).
• Creation of test scripts in the VectorCast/C++ tool.
• Performing low-level tests.
• Interfaces include digital and analog I/Os, CAN bus, RS232, and SPI.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in functional testing on embedded systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Python.
• In-depth knowledge of Doors.
• Knowledge of the C programming language is desirable.
• Knowledge of VectorCAST/C++ is desirable.
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.

Experience

• 3 years of professional experience.
• Professional experience and knowledge of aeronautical standards in software development and software testing.

Education

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification with experience in embedded software development.
