About Us

We are expanding our experienced team in Buchs (SG) and Schwerzenbach (ZH). At IMT, we work in interdisciplinary teams and successfully implement projects using agile approaches in all phases of development – from the idea to the finished product.

Your Responsibilities

• Concept, architecture, design, and implementation of embedded real-time software systems in the medical technology and industrial environment
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with the fields of electronics, measurement, control, and regulation technology, as well as mechanics
• Participation in the creation of specifications and requirements documents
• Development of embedded software according to high quality standards (Clean Code)
• Ensuring the stable operation and continuous further development of embedded systems through maintenance, bug fixing, updates, changes, and releases (Lifecycle Engineering)
• Option for project or sub-project management available upon request

Your Profile

• Completed studies (university/university of applied sciences) with a specialization in computer science, electrical engineering, or systems engineering
• Experience in the implementation of embedded systems with C++ and in the planning and execution of unit, integration, and system tests
• In-depth knowledge of various processor architectures
• Experience with real-time and embedded operating systems
• Good knowledge of communication protocols and bus systems
