About
We are seeking an Embedded Systems & Software Engineer to help develop next-generation AR/VR, IoT, and sensor-driven platforms spanning embedded firmware, Linux systems, hardware integration, and software tooling.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across the hardware and software boundary and wants to contribute to products from early prototype through production. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across electrical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineering to bring highly integrated systems to life.
The work includes a mix of embedded firmware, Linux integration, Python tooling, hardware debugging, and system-level optimization across sensor-rich and connected devices.
What You’ll Work On
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers and connected systems
- Integrate sensors, cameras, actuators, and peripheral interfaces including SPI, I²C, UART, and GPIO
- Support embedded Linux platforms, device drivers, and hardware interfaces
- Build Python tools for manufacturing, diagnostics, automation, calibration, and data collection
- Participate in hardware bring-up, system debugging, validation, and performance optimization
- Collaborate on architecture discussions, schematic reviews, and cross-functional system integration
- Help optimize power, latency, thermal performance, reliability, and manufacturability across embedded platforms
What We’re Looking For (required)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of embedded systems, firmware, or software engineering experience preferred
- Strong experience with embedded C/C++ development
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and embedded interfaces
- Proficiency with Python for tooling, testing, or automation
- Ability to debug across both hardware and software environments
- Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD debuggers, or related tools
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical disciplines
Helpful Experience (highly valued)
- AR/VR hardware or wearable technologies
- Embedded Linux or RTOS platforms
- Camera systems, imaging pipelines, or sensor integration
- Wireless systems including BLE or Wi-Fi
- Manufacturing test systems or calibration workflows
- Battery-powered or low-power embedded devices
- IoT platforms or connected edge systems
Why This Role
This is an opportunity to work on advanced embedded technologies that connect sensors, software, hardware, and real-world applications. The role offers broad technical exposure, meaningful product impact, and close collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines.
We are looking for engineers who are thoughtful, curious, collaborative, and excited to help shape emerging technologies in a supportive and fast-moving environment.
