Overview

You will work on challenging, machine-related software solutions and design technical applications from conception to delivery. Technologically, you will work with typical embedded and desktop technologies as well as a modern toolchain for version control and continuous integration. Occasional assignments with plant manufacturers will round off the range of tasks and offer exciting practical experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop modular, machine-related software components using C++ and similar programming languages.
• Implement new functions and implement requirements including testing and documentation.
• Coordinate acceptances and test runs as well as pilot evaluations in coordination with internal and external partners.
• Maintain and use a modern development toolchain with version control and CI processes.
• Work in an interdisciplinary team on projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of architecture and processes.
• Support requirements analysis and implement product-related solutions.

Your Profile

• Completed technical training or a degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional software development in C++ and ideally experience with C#-based UI development or comparable frameworks.
• Experience with version control and CI tools as well as issue trackers such as Git, Bitbucket, and Jira.
• Interest in machine-related systems and understanding of basic principles of control-related software.
• Communicate confidently in German and English and be open to occasional travel.
• Work well in a team, act solution-oriented, and bring a high-quality approach to testing and documentation.
