About the role
Overview
You will be part of an interdisciplinary development team, contributing to modern embedded solutions in technical automation projects. You will work on hardware and software components, bring in your own ideas, and have the opportunity for professional development. You will utilize embedded and microcontroller technologies such as STM32, C, or comparable MCU families, as well as development tools like ECAD/EDA, PCB layout, and PLM systems. Flexible working hours and mobile work support your work-life balance, with the work location being Kiel, easily accessible from the surrounding region.
Your Tasks
- Define and derive product requirements from technical specifications and stakeholder input
- Develop and simulate circuits and create ECAD/EDA plans
- Dimension and optimize populated printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies
- Perform functional tests, including EMC and environmental tests, and evaluate the results
- Program hardware-near software for microcontrollers in C and integrate bus interfaces
- Commission and support layout adjustments and the creation of product-related documents in PLM
- Advise internal departments and coordinate with external service providers
Your Profile
- Completed apprenticeship or degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
- Proficient knowledge of ECAD/EDA tools, PCB layout, and PLM systems
- Mastery of embedded programming, ideally with C and common MCU families like STM32
- Structured, solution-oriented work approach and technical creativity
- Confident communication in German and English
- Team spirit and support for cross-departmental projects
