About

You will work in a technical development environment on mechatronic products and actively shape firmware and hardware integration. You will have the opportunity to develop professionally and participate in exciting product life cycles. You will use technologies such as microcontroller platforms like STM32, ESP32, or comparable MCU families, as well as embedded development tools and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware solutions for embedded systems considering real-time requirements
• Maintain existing electronic and software components and drive their further development
• Select and integrate hardware components, sensors, and actuators, as well as supporting layout tools
• Program time-critical algorithms in C++ and implement communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, and TCP/UDP
• Perform tests and verifications of hardware-software interaction
• Accompany products from concept to series production and document technical decisions
• Coordinate discussions with technical departments, purchasing, and quality assurance, as well as external partners

Qualifications

• First practical experience with microcontroller platforms such as STM32 or ESP32
• Basic knowledge of C++ or Embedded C
• Familiarity with common interface protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and IP-based protocols
• Experience in using measurement and debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• Familiarity with version control and development workflows, ideally Git
• Good communication skills and German language proficiency at least B2 level
