Embedded Systems Engineer – Safety-Critical Software (m/w/d) - J38544

You will be part of a technical team developing sophisticated, safety-relevant software solutions using state-of-the-art embedded technologies. Your Tasks

• Develop Embedded software for safety-relevant devices and systems in compliance with relevant development processes
• Create software concepts, specifications, and clear technical documentation
• Implement and test modules in C and C++ as well as in UI components with Flutter or comparable frameworks
• Perform debugging, unit and integration tests and support verification activities
• Work closely with hardware development and system integration and support prototype verification
• Review code through reviews and optimize existing software architectures
• Use modern collaboration and planning tools and contribute to continuous process improvement

Your Profile

• Completed degree or comparable technical training in computer science, software engineering, or electrical engineering
• First to several years of experience in embedded software projects with a focus on C and C++
• Familiarity with RTOS environments such as QNX and embedded Linux distributions such as Yocto or Ubuntu
• Knowledge in UI development with Dart/Flutter and in the development of Windows applications
• Basic knowledge of circuit and PCB design and experience in regulated development processes
• Communicate confidently in German and English and work in a structured and self-reliant manner
