Your Future Tasks

  • Further development of embedded systems for our Professional Business (fountain controls) and Consumer Business (IoT) divisions.
  • Evaluation and integration of new technologies, standards, and security requirements.
  • Conducting development-accompanying tests for quality assurance.
  • Close collaboration with our app team on the specification of interfaces for our IoT devices (illumination, filtration, pumps, water features, aquaristics, and sensor technology).

What You Bring With You

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering / computer science or a comparable technical training or qualification.
  • Sound professional experience in the development of embedded systems.
  • Very good programming skills in C or C++.
  • Proficient handling of cloud-based systems, preferably Microsoft Azure; knowledge of C# and Visual Basic is desirable.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and Linux, as well as experience with modern development tools such as Visual Code, Eclipse, Git, and Jira, are advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic prototypes using common measuring and testing equipment.
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness for onsite presence in Hörstel.
  • High level of comprehension, team spirit, and an independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
