To further develop our data-driven forecasting services, we are looking for an analytically strong personality to make our forecast models production-ready and strategically develop our data landscape.

Responsibilities

• Development of ML models for generation and consumption forecasts
• Design and implementation of ETL/ELT pipelines for processing heterogeneous data sources such as IoT sensors, ERP systems, and external telemetry data
• Development of algorithms for optimizing energy use in our energy communities
• Transfer of experimental pipelines into stable, maintainable, and scalable production environments
• Creation of insights & reporting for stakeholders
• Further development of data architectures

Salary

For this position, an annual gross salary starting from EUR 52,000 for full-time employment is planned, with willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and professional experience.

Qualifications

• Completed training in computer science, data science, mathematics, engineering, or comparable field
• Very good Python skills (OOP) and experience with common ML frameworks
• Good SQL skills and experience with relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB)
• Experience in analyzing time series, telemetry, or sensor data
• Practical experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines and ML pipelines
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments
• Understanding of clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Analytical mindset, initiative, and structured way of working
• Good German and English skills
