Drive energy efficiency initiatives as a dedicated Energy Specialist. Oversee project management and compliance to enhance building performance and lower utility costs within a diverse educational community.

This role will work under the Manager of Energy & Sustainability, focusing on energy efficiency across facilities. Candidates should be experienced in strategic planning, project management, and data analytics. Your work will promote sustainability and environmental stewardship within the community, engaging stakeholders and optimizing energy use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Five-Year Energy Conservation Plan
  • Lead energy retrofit projects in HVAC and lighting
  • Analyze utility data for conservation opportunities
  • Manage utility accounts and billing verification
  • Support awareness campaigns for sustainability

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Engineering or related field
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation required
  • 3–5 years in energy conservation, utilities management
  • Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and regulations
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License for site visits

Utilize technical expertise and project management skills to foster environmental initiatives in a dynamic school setting.
